What Is a Clearing & Forwarding Agent?
A C&F Agent acts as the vital bridge between manufacturer production plants and regional market distributors. Rather than manufacturers establishing independent godowns in every state, Prabhaashtu appoints certified C&F partners who manage consignment stock, invoicing, and logistics.
As a Prabhaashtu C&F Partner, you receive consigned stock directly from brand factories, store it securely in temperature and pest-controlled facilities, and dispatch orders to approved Super Distributors and Distributors upon system authorization.
Core Responsibilities

Stock Inward & Unloading: Physical verification, batch number logging, and expiry inspection.

ERP Inventory Ledger: Real-time logging of stock receipts, transfers, and balance audits.

Order Dispatch & Logistics: Timely fulfillment of distributor purchase orders with LR generation.

Damage & Expiry Control: Proper segregation and documentation of non-moving or damaged goods.
C&F Partner Infrastructure Requirements
Prabhaashtu enforces high standards of logistics security, hygiene, and statutory compliance.
Warehouse Area
Minimum 5,000 to 15,000+ sq. ft. covered, moisture-proof godown space accessible by heavy commercial trucks (10-wheeler / trailers).
Statutory & GST
Active GSTIN registration, permanent account number (PAN), local trade license, and valid commercial property deed or registered lease agreement.
Logistics & Fleet
Availability of commercial mini-trucks / pickup vehicles for regional dispatches, or tie-ups with verified local transport operators.
FMCG Experience
Minimum 3 to 5+ years of verified operational experience in handling consumer goods, food products, or pharmaceuticals.
Security & Insurance
Comprehensive fire, flood, and burglary insurance coverage, 24/7 CCTV surveillance, and dedicated warehouse staffing.
Computerized ERP
High-speed internet connection, billing terminals, and personnel capable of operating Prabhaashtu’s cloud ERP software.
